A Letter from the Father - The Waters of Abiding
Speak my child. Raise your head high and speak. To what honor do I owe to anyone in this world? Yet when you speak, I lean in close to listen. I have heard your thoughts. I have seen your eyes stricken with panic. Yes the storm has raged to a higher level of rashness, but to which foundation do you hold fast to? Do you pay mind to the wind and the waves? To what purpose do they serve you? Are you worried that I have left you alone? Tell me how you are feeling and I shall give you my reply. I have counted every worry of your heart, I have heard every accusation in your mind. For I am not as far as you have accused me to be, but no my child, I am much closer than you think.
Look around you. Yes, the waves do exist and you would be right in saying they are strong. Yes, the wind has picked up it’s force and your body seems to be weak as it forces you about. But will you look around you still? My child, who is about you but I? Who else stands with you on the water? I have brought you out onto uncharted waters because it is there that it is just you and I. Look around you beloved, for you are in a very privileged position. The storm may seem strong, the wind may be heavy, and the water may be vast, but look child…LOOK! It is only you and I! This is where my pleasure is found. This is where my heart is made full. For when I bring you to the dangerous areas of territory, it is because you are the only one that follows. No one shall dare leave their place of comfort. Oh, how many invitations I have sent to never hear a response. But you my child…you answer so faithfully “Yes, Father…I’ll go.”
You see, I can trust you. I have ordained all things, placed all things, located all things, and called all things, yet I trust that my work can be brought through you to change this world. But do you believe that, beloved? So often your thoughts contradict my Truth. So often your doubts hinder my blessings. Yet, if you shall allow me to change your attitude, you shall see that your attitude is what was actually subtracting time from your clock. I am not confined by what I have created, therefore time is of no essence, only measure. But to you, time is the tool to which all is compared and contrasted. Your attitude and faith shall always determine how much time you actually have. If you uphold an attitude of thankfulness and stand strong on faith that is rooted in my Son, than you shall see time as if it could stand still to how fast I will bestow my blessings upon you. But if you waver and walk in unbelief, you shall be paralyzed by the spirit of fear. Yet behold my beloved! My perfect love casts out all fear! What wonderful news my Son has brought! Would you allow me to do my good work in you so I can bring my glory through you? Say that you shall allow my Spirit to do His required work in you!
I know that you cannot see the desired end. I know that as you look out from standing upon the water, your vision is limited. But trust me beloved, you are exactly where I want you. You are without a reason or a why, and this makes my heart filled with joy. This may sound confusing to you, but do not allow that spirit to torment you into thinking that I am not working. I do not need your human knowledge to bring to pass what I have promised. For if I have said it, so it shall be. This storm is meant to select you, correct you, and perfect you. With my hand upon you, no harm shall fall upon you, no I should say that I will never lead you to destruction. Just look around you…it’s not so frightening after all, is it? The less you see, the more that’s in store. The less you feel my presence, the more opportunity I am giving you to understand that I am MORE than your “feelings”. I am making your faith strong…so be strong, beloved. Greater is my Spirit in you. Never forget that. And just like any storm you have come to know, this too shall pass. But until then…abide. Abide my beloved. Just abide.
Your Heavenly Father, The Almighty One
